Business Pitch

I designed and produced a stunning pitch document and packaged it to be presented at the pitch. I also project managed the entire workflow of all the content that was going to be presented in the document and I coordinated with over 15 staff and managed a team of 5 designers. I completed the task in five days with an unmovable deadline for the document to be flown from Heathrow to Qatar on the sixth day.

Dear All,

I wanted to thank you all personally for the incredible effort and commitment that went into getting our outstanding document ready in time and within budget for submission earlier this week.  As I watched the work progress I felt very comfortable that we had a very strong proposal.

Unfortunately I did not see the finished version but fortunately I did receive a phone call from our client telling me that she was absolutely knocked out by the quality of our presentation document.

She went out of her way to stress how impressed she was that we were able to turn around  a great piece of media in a relatively short period of time.

We do not yet know the decision they may have taken, and as it is a government tender, it may well take a week or so. However, I feel you can all be rightly proud of your work and I want to thank you again for it.

MICE appointed global exhibition partner by Qatari Diar;Represents fourth major contract win in Qatar region Qatari Diar, a major force in real estate investment in the Middle East, has appointed MICE International as its first global exhibitions partner.

The contract win was awarded to MICE following a competitive tender and represents the fourth large contract win for the Group from Qatar-based organisations. The contract includes designing and building a state-of-the-art, 3D exhibition environment, which will be used to present Qatari Diar’s profile at major international exhibitions in the Middle East and Europe and to carry its key brand messages.

MICE will create an exhibition experience to engage visitors using interactive, multimedia presentations and a design that emulates the style and premium quality of Qatari Diar developments. These include the Lusail development in Qatar, one of the largest developments in the region that covers over 35 square kilometers and will accommodate on completion up to 200,000 people.

The exhibition stand will make its debut in December 2006 at Cityscape Dubai, the world’s largest international property and development event, which last year attracted 23,000 visitors.

Other contracts that have been awarded to MICE from Qatar organizations include assignments from Qatar Gas; Qatar Airways and an events management contract from the Doha Asian Games Organizing Committee to project-manage a ‘Taste of Qatar’ Road Show that will accompany the Torch Relay through thirteen cities.
